By storing your data externally at Merak, you maintain a grip on your archives. You can be sure that your documents are stored under the best conditions. Merak stores your data in a suitable environment.

The Merak storage space is entirely dust-free. Powerful filters remove dust particles down to 0.5 micron and neutralise all harmful molecules. The temperature in the storage space is continuously monitored and always kept within the standards. The air humidity is managed by an intelligent air-conditioning system maintaining the ideal humidity level.

The low UV artificial light replaces daylight and shields the archives from it. This prevents oxidation and discolouration of the paper and cardboard fibres of the archive boxes.

The continuous power supply is guaranteed by our own emergency generators for each space. For security reasons these are situated in a separate building.

Fire safety is guaranteed by two fire detection systems in each archives facility. Only when both raise the alarm, a sectional sprinkler system is activated to target the fire. The water is immediately drained through a metal grid in the floor.

Special archive boxes:
The unique Merak archive boxes are made from water-repellent material. They undergo a multiple coating treatment and have a very long lifecycle. Preceding each delivery, a quality control is carried out by specialised laboratories. As they come in four sizes, the boxes are also handy to use in your office.

Anonymous barcode system:
The Merak archive boxes are anonymous. They are not labelled with a company name, department or content description. Your archives can only be identified by the unique barcode, enabling us to register every manipulation.

All Merak employees have extensive expertise and their skills are continuously updated. All operational supervisors have obtained a certificate and have attended training courses at an institute for fire prevention. The proper allocation of duties always guarantees a sufficient number of professional people for short-term, important actions related to your archive management.

No single Merak employee has access to all the necessary keys to request the content of an archive box and to subsequently track it down. Furthermore, access to the Merak facilities is severely restricted.

Own courier service:
Your documents and archives are delivered by our own courier service. Wherever and whenever you need them. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In this way we guarantee a maximum continuity even in emergency situations.

Intuitive software:
With the intuitive Merak Inventory Online application, you will always have an overview of the status of your archives. You will be able to quickly and easily find everything. You can send instructions, and add and/or modify data.
